distributed 3,088 food bags to our neighbors in need. Each food bag is thoughtfully curated to include fruits, vegetables, proteins, and carbohydrates, providing essential nutrition for a single day. Neighbors are eligible to receive one bag every day, reflecting our commitment to combating food insecurity in our community. March saw the highest distribution numbers as we extended our support to a local nonprofit, significantly increasing the reach of our services. October recorded the lowest numbers due to the relocation of our facilities, which temporarily impacted operations. At the beginning of the year, the cost per bag was approximately $10. Through strategic partnerships and increased efficiency, we successfully reduced the cost to $4.87 per bag. This cost reduction was made possible by generous contributions from the Berea Food Bank and community donations, which remain vital to our mission. As we reflect on the past year, we are inspired by the impact made possible through community collaboration. Our focus for the upcoming year will include further expanding our reach, enhancing operational efficiency, and continuing to meet the nutritional needs of our neighbors with dignity and care.
